Awards Season

If you have been in a coma for the last month then mabye you aren't aware that it's awards season!!! So far this month we have had the BAFTA's, Emmy's, Grammy's, ELLE style awards, music awards and tonight (the queen of ceremonies) The Oscars. Awards cause arguments, tears and broken friendships because mabye who you were backing didn't even get a nomination, it seems that The King's Speech is this years Slumdog Millionaire. Not sure if either film deserved all it got but hey!
We have had dresses galore, which can only mean one amazing thing-who wore it best?!-Here is a selection of some of my fav outfits.

Have you ever had one of those really bad days? When you throw on any old thing and hope to god that no one you know will spot you in the street and say hi?!
I have.
There will always be that occasional day when you feel fat, your hair's all frizzy and nothing looks good, but you gotta just fake it. Wear something plain and simple, only a little make-up, and hair tied back. if you have to go out then stick your earphones in and turn the music up full-blast to a playlist that always makes you smile. Music can help you whatever situation your in, and just imagine you are in your own little bubble :)
Then there are those days when you have been really daring in your style but know your in the public eye every little glance means something, well hold your head high, because you look great! You have the courage to express yourself, so what if strangers don't dig it, i bet you look fab.

WTF?!

We're back..with vengance! Our magazine is drying (virtually) and will be coming soon. In the meantime, a little 'WTF' to pass the time. i admit, that when i first heard saw turbans being worn out and about, i thought; 'that facebook joke went too far!'
Turban's are in right now though. recently the fashion holy guide 'VOGUE' has posted an article on turbans. when most people see the word turban they think of indian's and seeks, but these aren't that sort. we're talking 1950's housewife/mad men at home chic!! not only is it a great way to keep messy hair out of your eyes and face but it gives you that laid back vintage style.
so check it out, be individual and try reviving a vintage fad of your own!

Writer's Block

do you ever open up your diary/blog/notebook and just think, now what the hell do i write? I have to say that, unfortunately, this is one of those days.i said that i would update you guys this weekend, but nothing has happend.

i just opened up anew window and googled heat, to get some celeb inspiration. i have to say that the tabloids to make up such crap about celebs. what they write is neither intelligent, nor funny, or even the truth! i still find it irresistable to read though! what i really hate is the daily mail, Heat dont seem to take themselves too seriously so that's ok, but the daily mail will take a picture of a 'celeb' walking down the street and make a shocking story out of it.

i can't get over the video on you tube where justin bieber is like, "german? whats that? we dont have that word in america?" oh yeah sorry justin, forgot you were too preoccupied with changing music as we know it and making history to know anything other then that you like usher and you will never be able to sing 'chocolate rain'! if you haven't seen that video, watch it.

i think it's awful that someone who has made such little impact for the good of the world gets a movie made about him, he is not micheal jackson! when was it acceptable for pop sensations to turn old (free) video clips of themselves on you tube and backstage footage of tours into a film that you have to pay ten quid for!
